  1. It’s surprising though, hearing the outcome on the tussle for world bank presidency, anyway there’s a reason for it

  2. The choice of Young Kim is a gross display of racism. He is not even qualified if weigh side by side with Iweala. Afican leaders, please wake up! Stop being the agent of imperialism!

  3. I wholeheartedly, or at least almost wholeheartedly, supported Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and so of course I am disappointed that what I believed her superior merits for the post did not triumph nationality. Also, what happened will not make Jim Yong Kim difficult task easier…

    But that said, life goes on and let us not forget that when compared to the immensity of the problems the world faces, the chances of us the insignificants to help out, is just as big as that of the World Bank´s president…

    And so let us not make a bigger deal out of this than what it is… which does not mean either that we should not fight for the merits next time, and this even though none of us can be really sure of which merits should count. Good Luck Mr. Jim Yong Kim
