Another Cheney angle
A lot of the commentary has been about cronyism, one example of corruption (defined by the World Bank as abuse of public power for private gain). It's been well-known for ages that Wolfowitz was a Cheney protege. But I had not realised until this New York Times piece that Riza (the woman W with whom Wolfowitz is 'romantically linked') was working for Elizabeth Cheney, daugher of Vice President Dick Cheney, when she first transferred to the State Department.
