Job offer waiting for Wolfowitz?
Pendennis, commentator for UK paper The Observer, has been told by Bank sources that Wolfowitz "can look forward to a warm welcome from petroleum and energy company Halliburton, should he wish to work there." "They admire him greatly," says the Bank source.
Hmmm... you don't think this has anything to do with Wolfowitz' tinkering with the Bank's strategy to deal with climate change, do you?
Halliburton has just moved its offices to Dubai from Texas from where, coincidentally no doubt, there is no extradition treaty with the United States.
