Crucial info missing in Post defence of Wolfowitz. David Corn has published a thoughtful piece questioning aspects of a Wolfowitz endorsement published this week in the Washington Post. The piece, by Andrew Young, the former civil rights leader and onetime US ambassador to the United Nations. Young had the following plea: "we offer Paul Wolfowitz the same chance to learn from the misjudgments of the past and move on together to construct a more just, prosperous and nonviolent world". What Corn complains about is that Young is and has been a paid D.C. lobbyist for various African governments, a fact that neither he nor the Post saw fit to disclose. The governments concerned are Nigeria, Rwanda and Tanzania. Alex Wilks ~ May 12, 2007
